Cerebral Palsy of North Jersey and Rocking Horse Rehab have joined together to provide aquatic therapy services in the brand new, state of the art therapy pool at CPNJ Horizon High School in Livingston, NJ. Aquatic therapy is a functional, therapeutic approach to improving movement, balance, posture, sitting and standing in children with various developmental, neurological and musculoskeletal disorders. The properties of warm water combined with traditional PT/OT techniques strengthens all body systems and can lead to greater independence in and out of the water. Best of all, the children enjoy their therapy! CPNJ has provided aquatic therapy to their students for the last seven years and are now using their experience in aquatic therapy and the partnership with Rocking Horse Rehab to offer this service to children with special needs in the community.
