Located in a new state of the art, handicapped accessible facility in Union County, Deron I is a private day school for children ages five to fourteen, which has been providing a supportive academic program to students exhibiting a wide range of learning disabilities for forty years. Students thrive in a nurturing environment which emphasizes academics to life skills and a full range of related services. The mission of Deron School is to assist each individual to develop to his/her fullest potential, to help the student achieve the highest level of independence within reach of his or her ability and to prepare the student for eventual placement in a least restrictive environment in future educational/vocational programs.
