The Children’s Therapy Center of North Jersey is committed to providing premium quality care and support to families who have children with special challenges and abilities. They believe the key to maximizing a child’s potential lies in effective collaboration among parents, children, and professionals. Their goal is to maintain high professional standards in an environment that enhances and supports a child’s ability to successfully communicate and engage in the the occupations of childhood, while fullfilling their roles as children, siblings, friends and students. Parents, caregivers, and family members are encouraged to be active members of the treatment team. Therapists design individual therapy programs unique to the needs of the child in collaboration with family contributions. Services include occupational, physical, and speech therapy, evaluations, and treatment services for children from birth through 18 years of age. They’ve recently added a clinical social worker to the staff who can provide Psychotherapy & Family Counciling services, a licenced tutor, and the Wilson Reading program. Services for a variety of disorders may be provided individually or in small groups and may involve interdisciplinary treatment approaches including occupational therapy and speech therapy.
