Special Needs Parent & Child Resources
These programs and resources provide assistance for children with special needs and disabilities, including speech delays, learning disabilities and differences, fine/gross motor development delays and speech and hearing problems. The experts and programs are certified to treat children with autism spectrum disorders including Asperger’s syndrome, ADD/ADHD, Tourette’s and bipolar disorder. They also deal with sensory integration issues, problems with socialization, difficulty after catastrophic illnesses, dyslexia, Down syndrome, cerebral palsy, and oral and visual impairment. The local resources addressing these special needs issues and other issues include developmental programs, autism programs, applied behavior analysis, speech and language therapy, play therapy and social skills training.
