The JCC’s three After-School Day Care programs offer afternoons packed with constructive and fun activities for children in k-7th grades, two through five days a week. Free transportation is included from most local schools! Children enjoy free play, engage in a range of structured group activities and “themed” special events, and work on homework under the supervision of trained teachers. Finishing up homework early allows children to be less stressed and have more fun during their play and at-home time. The day care programs run daily from the end of public school through 6pm, with optional extended care through 6:30pm. In Pleasantville, children also have the option to take professionally led After-School Classes, such as chess, dance, drama, sports, computers and knitting.
