“This is the best kept secret in Bayside!” is a common phrase among parent’s new to this pre-k to 8th grade school. Among the reasons for saying that are the following: Pre-Kindergarten classes teach social and Kindergarten readiness skills. The 4th grade state test results are fantastic! Eighth graders can graduate with three credits for high school courses. Additionally provided is a plethora of afterschool activities to keep students involved. Some of them are dance, art, sports, chess and computers. LSF&B understands parent’s busy schedules and they provide an afterschool care program until 6pm. LSF&B students receive homework help, a light snack and lots of opportunity to practice their social skills. Facilities include a full gymnasium, an outdoor playground, a computer lab and all the classrooms are air-conditioned for those hot and humid days.
