Kew-Forest is a traditional, coeducational, college preparatory school for students in grades k-12. Located in a residential neighborhood near all forms of public transportation, it boasts small classes, caring teachers and a diverse student body. Its Lower School (grades k-6) provides a developmentally appropriate learning environment and comprehensive curriculum featuring Spanish, art, music, gym, technology and library and science. Starting in grade 6, students also enjoy an outdoor education program that stresses cooperation, conflict resolution and social development. Its Upper School (grades 7-12) features a rigorous college prep program that leads to a thorough Liberal Arts education. Virtually all K-F grads attend four-year colleges or universities. The school also offers a Breakfast program beginning at 7:30am and an Afterschool program until 6pm; K-F also features a wide variety of extracurricular activities (sports teams, community service clubs, mock trial, model UN, music and drama ensembles, foreign language clubs and more) as well as a Summer Camp for grades k-6 and a Summer Institute for grades 7-12.
