Juliet Hawkins is offering a unique, structured, home-based intervention. The goal is the development and implementation of a written, concrete, individualized behavior/training plan tailored to the needs of your son or daughter. This requires active participation from the parent. Ms. Hawkins will come to your home once or twice a week for about 1-2 hours per visit. The first 3-4 visits will consist of assessing your child’s behavior/skill level. You will be asked to keep records of the child’s progress. Ms. Hawkins will observe your child at home and at their school. Following the assessment phase, there will be a parent training phase. Behavioral strategies will be explained in a down-to-earth, parent-friendly manner. The focus is on effective communication, positive structure and consequences. Training plans are realistic and family-friendly. She will work with children who have disabilities such as Autism, Mental Retardation, ADHD, Learning Disabilities or children who are just behaviorally challenging. She will also develop toilet training plans. She primarily serves the five-towns area.
