The JCP (Jewish Community Project) Preschool provides a warm and nurturing environment in which the uniqueness of each child is supported while creating community. JCP fosters an environment of flexibility within structure to facilitate each child’s exploration and discovery. Working hand in hand with parents to form a partnership of trust, the JCP Preschool supports the development of the whole child within the whole family. Jewish appreciation and experiences are integral to the program. The JCP Preschool program is designed for children between 2 years 4 months and pre-k. For children between the ages of 22 months and 2 years 5 months, JCP offers the Bridge Program, which is specifically designed to create a bridge into a full preschool experience. In the Bridge Class, children attend with a parent or caregiver and separation is initiated mid year. JCP Early Childhood Center also offers a full range of Parenting Center programs and enrichment classes including afterschool programs for preschool age achildren. Call the JCP Early Childhood Center at (212)334-3533 or visit the Web site www.jcpdowntown.org for registration information.
