Harmony Yoga & Dance is not just a dance or yoga class - it's a school where children and their parents can explore and develop their creativity in a fun and beneficial way! Harmony Yoga & Dance uses a special method of integrating mind and body artistically. They offer yoga classes for tykes as young as 2 months old up to teens, where children learn to respect themselves, others, nature and creatures, build their bodies and balance their minds. They also learn to manage stress which enhances thier self-esteem, and classes are kept small to establish a family-like atmosphere that is safe and warm. Babies, children and their parents naturally learn positive communication and bonding through this yoga program. They have a Teen Dance & Pilates Exercise class, which is great for athletes, dancers and overweight children. In the Family Yoga class, family members and children do yoga together, providing a great opportunity for them to explore nature, practice respect and deepen their connection with each other through the yoga poses and games. Harmony Yoga & Dance even teaches kids meditation! The center alsooffers pregnancy yoga and mom and baby/toddler yoga classes, as well as adult yoga and meditation classes.
