Established in 1956, Good Shepherd Lutheran School educates young children ages 2 through kindergarten in a safe, stimulating Christian environment. An interactive program, Together With Toddler, meets twice a week for 1½ hours, providing parents and their little ones the opportunity to enjoy activities and crafts while learning about textures, sounds and seasonal themes. Their Nursery and Pre-Kindergarten programs offer classes for six-hour full days Monday through Friday, or half days with morning or afternoon sessions. These programs are designed to guide 3 and 4-year-old children in their social, intellectual, spiritual, and physical development, offering parents flexibility in their choices. The Full Day Kindergarten program meets New York State requirements, focusing on the development of skills in reading, writing, mathematics, and the arts and sciences. Before and After Care programs are available on a flexible basis, 7am-6pm.
