At the Friedberg JCC, the staff focuses on making your children feel happy about themselves and their school environment. Programs for children, newborn through age 5, include parent and me classes, and nursery school and daycare programs. Warm, experienced, nurturing teachers will teach all the “basics” in a non-basic way. The large classrooms are furnished with the latest state-of-the-art equipment. Children are introduced to computers in the computer lab. The curriculum is further enriched with music, cooking and Judaica. A bicycle riding room, tumbling room and creative movement room, with special equipment for babies, offer indoor excitement while the outdoor playground features slides and climbing. Class trips and special visitors all give the children a better understanding of their community. For working parents, the JCC sites in Oceanside and Long Beach offer extended hours.
