Access to communication is key to the success of the child who is deaf. For over 80 years, Cleary School for the Deaf has successfully educated children who are Deaf that reside in Suffolk and Nassau Counties. From their home and school based parent-infant program up through their integrated secondary program, Cleary School has always strived to meet the needs of their students and their families. In addition to providing educational programs that follow New York State Learning Standards, Cleary School offers additional after school programs to enrich their students’ culturally, socially and academically. Support Services are also provided to their students and their families, as needed. Cleary School is at the forefront of Deaf Education and their collective expertise gives them the ability to provide a wide range of services to their students from their Parent/Infant program, to their Oral Pre School program, to their ASL-Based classes to their integrated High School.
