Carousel Day School, established in 1956, is fully accredited by the New York State Education Department and Board of Regents. Under the direct supervision of owner/directors Gene and Jane Formica, the entire program ensures a well-rounded curriculum. They recognize the need to impart knowledge and teach basic skills. They are also sensitive to each child as a unique individual and therefore the corresponding need to create an educational environment that reflects and addresses these personal needs. The Carousel program combines a sense of freedom to grow in an enjoyable atmosphere of curiosity and discovery through skillful guidance.
