Is your child experiencing delays in speech and language or problems with attention, focus and memory? All of these skills rely on the brain’s ability to process incoming auditory information and organize it for retrieval and use. Your child’s ability to effectively process auditory information is the foundation for all his learning. An auditory processing problem may not be a hearing impairment problem, but rather a developmental condition within the inner ear and/or brain’s neural network. Research indicates programs using highly specific auditory sound patterns are able to increase accuracy in processing auditory information for brain recognition. A reasonably priced and effective program for your child is called The Listening Program®. This is a convenient, home-based program that uses specifically designed psycho-acoustic sound delivered through quality headphones. Those benefiting from The Listening Program® include children with autism spectrum disorders, ADD/ADHD, dyslexia, dyspraxia, cerebral palsy, Down syndrome, as well as those with generalized learning disabilities. Parents have noticed additional improvement in emotional and thought processing, sleep, behavior and reading, spelling and writing skills. The Listening Program® compliments all other intervention and support services. Home visits or telephone/e-mail support is available as well as copies of The Listening Program® as featured in Autism/Asperger’s Digest.
