Located
in Edison on 35 acres at the conjunction of Middlesex, Union, and Somerset
counties, the Wardlaw-Hartridge School has been educating students since
1882. The educational mission of Wardlaw-Hartridge is to prepare students
to lead and succeed in a world of global interconnection. Wardlaw-Hartridge
provides an educational atmosphere characterized by academic challenge,
support for individual excellence, diversity, and a familial sense of
community. Wardlaw-Hartridge is large enough to offer 19 Advanced Placement
classes for Upper School students, but small enough to boast classes
that provide an intimate learning environment of 16 students or less.
The campus houses state-of-the-art computer and science labs, three
art studios, Snowdon Library, a writing lab, greenhouse, two gymnasiums,
a 25-yard swimming pool, tennis courts and several athletic fields.
