The Summit Area YMCA offers a wide array of child care programs at four branch locations. The Learning Circle YMCA in Summit offers programs including early education and care for 6 weeks through All-Day Kindergarten. Infant Care (6 weeks - 12 months), Waddlers (9months - 18 months), Toddlers (18 months - 2 years and 10 months), Preschool/Pre-K (2 years/10 months - 4 years), All Day Kindergarten (Ages 5). The Berkeley Heights YMCA offers Tiny Tots, a year-round program for ages 3 ½ - 5 years offering many activities including arts, gym, outdoor play, story time, group games, math, reading, writing letters, shapes and colors. The Springfield YMCA offers a Pre-school wrap around program. The Summit YMCA, Springfield YMCA and Berkeley Heights YMCA offer After-School programs for kindergarten through fifth grade, and kindergarten wrap around programs. All branches include swim lessons at the Summit YMCA. Full and part day. Y Cares Financial Assistance available.
