Did
you know that over 250 students are studying Japanese at Princeton Community
Japanese Language School? Princeton Community Japanese Language School
(PCJLS) is located in beautiful central New Jersey. Students from preschool
to high school and adults come from all over New Jersey as well as surrounding
states to learn Japanese on Sundays. PCJLS, founded in 1980, offers
language courses for both native speakers and those learning Japanese
as a second language. Multiple course levels tailored to the students’
ability are available for separate age brackets. The courses may qualify
for high school foreign language credit, and can help students prepare
for the new AP Japanese Language and Culture exam. The classes are held
Sundays at Rider University in Lawrenceville, NJ. PCJLS is a non-profit
organization of New Jersey and is a Japanese hoshu-ko approved by the
Japanese Ministry of Education. Applications are now being accepted
for the next school year beginning on September 9, 2007.
