Paper Mill Playhouse, New Jersey’s Premiere Not-for-Profit Regional Theatre, is about to turn 70! In their platinum year Paper Mill promises an array of programming perfect for the New Jersey family. Due to an overwhelming response to their popular Theatre School classes, Paper Mill Playhouse is proud to announce that they will be offering a new spring mini-session! Choose from a wide variety of classes for children and adults alike, including: a wonderful introduction to the world of theatre in Theatre Tots for ages 4 - 5; Story Book Theatre I, an absorbing theatre experience that builds reading and comprehension skills for young actors ages 6 - 8; and an opportunity for your 6 - 12 year old to develop stage presence, good vocal habits and the ability to interpret and deliver a song to an audience in Musical Theatre Workshop. For older performers ages 9 - 17, Acting For The Camera explores the commercial audition process, while Acting & Improv uses theatre games and improvisation to offer a fun-filled introduction to theatre for the novice actor! Paper Mill Playhouse also provides adult acting classes that are perfect for anyone looking to polish their presentation skills or just hoping to feel more comfortable in front of an audience.
