Open
your children up to the exciting worlds of music, drama, dance and visual
arts at Newark School of the Arts (NSA). Since 1968, Newark School of
the Arts has provided high-level training in the performing and visual
arts to students of all ages, experience and skill levels. Classes are
offered in two 17-week sessions throughout the school year on afternoons,
evenings and Saturdays. NSA is home to a vast array of stimulating artistic
programs to choose from, including: Voice; a multitude of musical instruments;
Ballet; Tap; Jazz; Modern; African Dance; Hip-Hop; Theater; and Visual
Arts to help round out the school’s extensive curriculum. Specialized
instruction and ensemble training are offered for selective classes.
NSA also offers fun and exciting new programs in print-making and collage!
Over the years, NSA’s sequential training has led to professional
careers for many of its former students and all current students are
given the opportunity to display their skills in both formal and informal
settings. The school boasts an experienced international faculty with
degrees and advanced degrees from leading conservatories and universities.

as well as an ability to interact well with both children and adults.
