Since 1968, Newark School of the Arts has provided high-level training in the performing and visual arts to students of all ages, experience and skill levels. Classes are offered in two 17-week sessions throughout the school year on afternoons, evenings and Saturdays. NSA is home to a vast array of stimulating artistic programs to choose from, including: Voice; a multitude of musical instruments; Ballet; Tap; Jazz; Modern; African Dance; Hip-Hop; Theater; and Visual Arts to help round out the school’s extensive curriculum.
