The Lakeland Hills Family YMCA has been in continuous operation as a not-for-profit association in Mountain Lakes since 1972, catering to more than 12,000 families in the communities of Boonton, Boonton Township, Butler, Denville, Kinnelon, Lincoln Park, Montville, Mountain Lakes, Parsippany, and Pequannock. Their Kids Club After School Program gives children the opportunity to have fun in a caring environment while being social with their peers. After a full day in the classroom, Kids Club kids get a chance to play, relax, do homework, or engage in fun activities. Theme days, special events, sports, games, homework time, and snack are all part of the program. They have it all! Sign up for one day a week, or Monday through Friday - it’s your choice! Kids Club begins at school dismissal and ends promptly at 6 p.m., serving the following communities at these off site locations: Boonton - School Street School; Boonton Twp - Rockaway Valley School; Butler - Aaron Decker School; Denville - Riverview School (7 a.m. morning care also available; Lakeview School Lincoln Park - Lincoln Park Elementary School; Mountain Lakes - Wildwood School Kids Club also covers scheduled half-days from early dismissal time (held in the school) and school vacations, known as Vacation Camp, which is held at an off-site facility.
