Grow With Us Childcare Center is a brand new state-of-the-art facility for children 6 weeks of age through pre-kindergarten. Located in Long Valley Village Center on East Mill Road, the Center offers full-day child care as well as nursery and preschool programs. The approach to learning is based on Piaget’s theory that children learn through play. The curriculum reflects this approach by using a teacher-based and created curriculum, which is developed in conjunction with both head teacher and director, and is part of the ongoing staff development efforts at the center. The Group Teachers at Grow With Us Childcare Center are experience individuals, who have been trained in early childhood education and attend classes, workshops and seminars to keep their skills sharpened and up to date. Staff members have CPR and first aid certification and those not currently certified will achieve certification at the next available training opportunity. Besides creating a safe, healthy learning environment, the staff stakes great pride in creating a well-structured learning environment and routine for the children. Classrooms are designed to suit each child’s stage of development through the use of age-appropriate toys and equipment. Playground equipment is certified by the International Play Equipment Manufacturers Association and padded through the use of non-toxic, 100 percent recycled rubber.
