The YJCC Nursery School provides an exceptional nurturing environment that promotes creative expression through the arts, music and language. Reading and math readiness are developed in response to each child’s growing interest, skill and ability. A creative approach to Judaic customs and holidays is an integral element of the curriculum, emphasizing Jewish values and culture. A fully-accredited, experienced professional staff nurtures intellectual curiosity and development of social skills. Classrooms open onto a fenced-in playground with equipment built for creative play and large muscle development. Children use the YJCC’s gymnasium and indoor swimming pools under the supervision of YJCC Physical Education and Aquatics staff. Early drop-off and full 3/4 day programs are available. Licensed by the NJ Department of Youth & Family Services, and affiliated with the Jewish Educational Services of the UJA Federation of Northern New Jersey. YJCC membership is required for Nursery School registration. The YJCC also offers The Parenting Center, with infant/toddler/parent classes, as well as information, guidance, support and resources for parents of children from newborn through 24 months.
