Action Theatre Conservatory (founded in 1990) is dedicated to offering the best in acting, TV/Film, musical theater, improv, stand-up comedy and dance classes! Their Children’s Conservatory Theatre (CCT) Saturday classes offer 7 - 12 year olds an opportunity to work on fun and effective techniques in singing, acting and dance. A similar program is scheduled for teens 13 - 18, with all three disciplines offered on Sundays. Both programs culminate in “mini-performances” showcasing scenes, songs and the theater exercises that have formed the basis for training. ATC’s newest - and hottest - addition is Hip Hop and the Elite Dance Studio offerings! Students have an opportunity to join The Elite Dance Teams, ATC’s competition dance troupes. ATC also offers a wide variety of creative programs for teens and adults of all skill levels. All classes are taught by show business professionals. Casting Directors and agents from the tri-state area request ATC regularly to recommend performers for commercials, film, MTV and stage shows. Talented young people can make the most of their summers by taking part in ATC’s Summer Workshop and NYC Showcase programs for kids and teens. These intensive workshops culminate with performances at The Producers Club in NYC, to which managers, agents and casting directors are invited.
