Nurture and Nature
The Theodore Roosevelt Nature Center at Jones Beach hosts the Let’s Discover Nature events for children ages 3-5 and their parents. Autism Awareness
Red Robin Country Cares Foundation presents a carnival fundraiser to support families in the community affected by autism. While contributing to the cause, attendees enjoy music, games, face painting, rides,

Miles for Mom
The 3rd Annual Mile for Mothers Walk a Mile in Mom’s Shoes takes place on May 5, 9:30am-noon. Meet at the boardwalk at Riverside Boulevard in Long Beach to honor all that these women do. Art Appreciation
The Great Neck Arts Center presents the 2012 Art Salon Lecture Series on May 30, 7:30pm. Guests are invited to a relaxed evening with large screen images of art. Discuss European Art with fellow attendees while

Breast cancer survivors and those concerned about breast health issues are sought as hotline volunteers for the Adelphi NY Statewide Breast Cancer Hotline & Support Program in Garden City.
