Just in time for Mother’s Day, The Liberty Hall Museum welcomes 7 to 12 year olds and the special lady in their lives to a Mommy and Me Tea and Craft Workshop. Presented on May 8 from 10am-noon, the event has participants create a beautiful spring crepe paper flower arrangement while enjoying tea, lemonade, tea sandwiches and cookies. Elementary- and middle school-age basketball fans will love being a part of the Hoops There It Is basketball clinics. Small class sizes maximize overall improvement as players receive fundamental to advanced instruction in all aspects of the game of basketball, followed by scrimmages. On May 19, take an enjoyable and educational trip into the past by climbing aboard one of the Excursion Trains at the Whippany Railway Museum, Whippany. The leisurely 45-minute, 10-mile, round-trip journey provides visitors of all ages with an opportunity to view the train and countryside along the historic Whippanong Trail. Jenna’s Rainbow is a local nonprofit organization committed to supporting families combating pediatric brain and spinal cord tumors.
