Easter Celebration
Get into the spirit of the holiday by hopping on over to the Chester Family Easter Egg Hunt on April 7. Taking over the Gazebo at Municipal Field in Chester, the fun-filled 18th annual event features more than 5,000 eggs filled with candy and prizes, as well as a competitive jelly bean counting contest, raffles, music and comedy from Polka Dot the Clown, and a visit from the Easter Bunny. Projects and Pajamas
Children ages 2-5 are invited to put on their favorite PJs and have some fun during the Painting- N-Pajamas program at Express Yourself Studios, 1877 Springfield Ave., Maplewood. Lace up your running shoes and step out in support of a great cause during Running 4 Answers: A Race Against Alzheimer’s on April 28. The third annual fundraising event to benefit Alzheimers research offers a 5K race and two-mile fun run/fitness walk along the beautiful tree-lined rolling hill streets of historic Essex Fells. Introduce your little ones to soccer with Pre K Kickers Spring Soccer Camp. The Whippany Railway Museum celebrates springtime by inviting families along on the Easter Bunny Express! The leisurely 45-minute ride along the historic Whippanong Trail includes treats for the kids and a chance to take pictures with the Easter Bunny himself.
