Laces for Learning
The streets of East Northvale come alive as they become the stomping grounds for the Laces for Learning Northvale 5K on May 6. Walkers and runners of all ages are welcome to the event that is presented at Hogan Field in Northvale. T-shirts are provided to the first 200 registrants. All proceeds benefit the Northvale PTO. Get Moving
Hoboken Catholic Academy invites patrons to lace up their sneakers and partake in the Hoboken Catholic 3rd Annual 5K Run/Walk and Kids Dash. Presented on June 2 at 9am, the fundraising event is an excellent opportunity for children and adults to exercise while spending time together. Catch the Rainbow
Spend quality time with your kids and support a wonderful cause by attending the 13th Annual Jenna’s Rainbow Foundation Spring Fair on May 20, 12:30-5pm. Families can partake in various activities, including arts and crafts, inflatable rides, games, pie-eating contests, raffles and more. Jenna’s Rainbow is a local non-profit organization committed to supporting families combating pediatric brain and spinal cord tumors. The fair is at Tenafly Middle School, Tenafly. High Voltage
Electricity is in the air this spring when the Electric Daisy Carnival makes its east coast debut on May 19 and 20. The Bicycle Touring Club of North Jersey encourages families to ride for fun and health by participating in the Bergen County Bicycle Tour on June 3. Kicking off at Bergen Community College, 400 Paramus Road, Paramus. New Jersey, the tour is open to riders of all ages. Choose from courses that cover five, 12, 25 or 45 miles.
