Walking Together
Rockland County community members and all those who want to join to raise money to support the mission of the United Hospice of Rockland are invited to sign up for the Third Annual Walk to Remember. On April 22 at Rockland Lake State Park in Congers, New York, embark on a picturesque three-mile walk. Sign-in begins at 7:30am. Pre-register online at www.hospiceofrockland.org.



Frozen Exploration

Following the release of Frozen Planet on the Discovery Channel, BBC Home Entertainment releases the DVD and Blu-ray set of the hit series on April 17. Explore the four seasons as they take place at the polar opposites of the planet and how they affect different living creatures, including polar bears, penguins, starfish and various birds. Best Day Ever
One of the Disney Channel’s most popular animated shows comes alive before your eyes this month in Phineas and Ferb: The Best Live Tour Ever. Animal Assistance
Animal lovers who are interested in teaching kids to read are invited to join the Hudson Valley Visiting Pet Program’s Reading Education Assistance Dogs program. On Saturday, April 21, 9am-2pm, at the Tolstoy Foundation, 104 Lake St., Valley Cottage, New York, adults discover how such a process is possible.
