Since 1972, Young World Day School has provided a safe, nurturing environment for children to grow academically, socially and emotionally. Our experienced staff utilizes an interdisciplinary approach to learning using individualized instruction, cooperative learning and small group instruction. The traditional preschool begins at age 2. The Montessori school is a multi-age, multi-year program beginning at age 2.9 years through age 6. Our elementary school covers TK/Kindergarten through grade 6 and is comprised of small, mixed-age classrooms that allow students to learn at a rate appropriate to their ability and achievement. This individualized approach means your child is not restricted by his age. Spanish, music, yoga, computers and athletics are included in the school-wide curriculum.
