Whether you are searching for a studio to introduce your child to dance, keep them physically fit, or continue their dance training through the summer, The West Side Dance Center's summer camp and dance program will do just that. The center runs a 1 - 5 week camp from July 6 - August 8. All camps are designed to help the student enjoy and develop an appreciation for the Performing Arts. Campers in grades 1 - 5 explore all styles of dance; ballet, jazz, tap, acrobatics, lyrical, modern & hip hop. The Musical Theatre Camp offers a packed week of acting, dancing, improvisation, with a final performance at the end of the camp. This year's camps will offer other optional activities such as ice-skating, rock climbing and gymnastics as a part of the program. A short parent observation will be held at the end of each week where the camper demonstrates some of the highlights from the week. The center also offers 1 week intensives for the more serious dancers and weekly classes for Adults and Children in Fitness and Dance.
