Kids Art Camp (ages 5-12) and Teen Art Camp (ages 13-15) enable campers to develop an appreciation of the visual arts by exploring a variety of mediums including painting, drawing, ceramics, and sculpture. Camps run in 1-week sessions from 10 am- 3 pm for 8 weeks, July 5-August 26, 2011. Since a different program is offered each week, parents may register their children for as many weeks as they wish. Also offered is a Summer Saturday Art Camp (ages 6-9) July 9-August 27, 8 sessions, from 10 am- 1 pm. Campers create two projects per day. High school students (ages 16-18) wishing to apply to college fine arts programs may take the Summer Portfolio Development Intensive. This 4-week program, July 11-August 5, 2011, is based on the curriculums and portfolio requirements of the leading fine arts schools. A different topic is covered each week; students may enroll in all four sessions or whichever sessions interest them most.
