The Windward School Summer Program is for all students entering grades 3-9 and runs July 2 – July 27, 2018 (no class on July 4) with courses available in Westchester (grades 3-9) and Manhattan (grades 3-8). Taught by members of The Windward School’s faculty, this four-week program features a morning academic program and afternoon activities program. The academic offerings follow the School’s research-based, multisensory curriculum and are for students who want to improve their skills or enrich their knowledge in the areas of reading, writing, math, science, and study and organizational skills. The afternoon activities are a perfect complement to a morning of study. Students may choose to participate in creative, sports, and performing arts activities. All afternoon programs emphasize the learning of group skills in a relaxed and friendly environment. Students may choose to spend either the morning academics session or full-day academics and activities sessions at The Windward School Summer Program. A 10% discount is offered to siblings attending the program.
