The Play Group Theatre (PGT) has been an artistic haven for Westchester’s children and teenagers for 16 years, providing a creatively charged yet artistically nurturing environment for emerging young artists through year-round programming, a diverse MainStage production calendar and an exciting array of camp program options. PGT is celebrating two years in its new theater facility in downtown White Plains. PGT’s new home for the performing arts includes a 228-seat Main Stage Theatre, a 75-seat Studio Theatre, rehearsal studios, scene and costume shops and more. Throughout the year, PGT offers programs for students ages 4-18, including StudioStage, MainStage and Little Theatre. With seven MainStage shows each year, from Shakespeare to big musicals and everything in between, PGT strives to provide young actors and audiences with a wide range of exciting theatrical experiences.
