FASNY is an independent, coeducational day school serving more than 850 students from age 3 through grade 12. Located in Westchester County, New York, FASNY is accredited by the New York State Department of Education, the New York State Association of Independent Schools (NYSAIS), the French Ministry of National Education, and the International Baccalaureate Organization. FASNY strives to educate, in a bilingual and multicultural environment, globally literate lifelong learners who understand, contribute to and thrive in an increasingly interdependent and connected world. FASNY holds its students to high standards of academic excellence, supports them in their personal development, and fosters a spirit of inquiry, service and social responsibility to the environment and the global community. FASNY offers non-French speakers two entry points into its multicultural community: in preschool (3 to 5 years old), where the double language immersion program brings children to bilingualism, and in high school, where the IB track is uniquely tailored to blend rising bilingual FASNY students, local non-French speakers, and qualified international students. FASNY’s Extension Program offers bilingual recreation and language programs for children and adults, and French immersion camps. From sports to arts to cooking, stimulating after-school activities, where children and adults are exposed to different languages and cultures, are a hallmark of the Extension Program.
