Registration is ongoing for the Shirley and Paul Pintel Nursery School/Kindergarten of the Fair Lawn Jewish Center for the 2011-12 school year. Parents should take this opportunity to visit the school and enroll their children in a warm, nurturing and fun atmosphere. Flexible, full day and half-day schedules are available for 2, 3 and 4 year olds. An extended day program is available in the morning and afternoon. They also offer a Kindergarten Enrichment program which is supplemental to the Public School. Additionally, they offer a “Mommy/Grandma & Me” program (14 - 24 months) twice a week, and “Cuddles and Coffee” (newborn - 13 months) program once a week. Their State Licensed Nursery School program is designed to encourage a balance of child initiated and teacher facilitated activities. All teachers are CPR and First Aid certified. The Secular and Judaic curriculum is tailored to meet the developmental needs of each specific age group. The students participate in a weekly music program, yoga and gym, Shabbat and holiday programs, as well as special school and family events. They have large open and spacious classrooms, an indoor playroom, outdoor playground and newly renovated bathrooms.
