Saddle River Day School is a coeducational, traditional college preparatory day school enrolling approximately 325 students in grades K-12. A 7:1 student-to-teacher ratio provides personalized attention for every student. Founded in 1957, SRDS has established a tradition of integrity and academic excellence while embracing core values including responsibility, honesty, compassion and respect. Situated on a beautiful 26-acre campus, this NAIS and NJAIS accredited day school comes complete with two gyms, two media/library centers, technology lab, performing arts center and three fully equipped art studios. World language instruction in Spanish and French begin in Kindergarten and Latin is offered in Grades 6 and up. Strong visual and performing arts enrich the SRDS experience throughout all divisions. Full interscholastic athletic programs beginning in Grade 6 offer students the opportunities to build self-confidence and cooperative spirit working as part of a team. SRDS provides its students with a challenging academic curriculum including advanced placement courses in many areas. 100% of the school’s recent graduates over the past five years have been accepted to the finest colleges in the country including Boston College, Brown, Colgate, Cornell, Columbia, Georgetown, Harvard, Tufts and the University of Pennsylvania.
