Are your children ready for real day camp? Since 1993, Rolling River Day Camp has provided children ages 3-15 with highly supervised camp experiences that result in the development of real life skills, real friendships and real fun! Rolling River is the only private day camp in the southwest corner of Nassau that is owned and operated by a local family. Directors Rhonda and Mark Goodman and their three children have created a family atmosphere at the camp, which focuses on innovative and age-appropriate programming. While RRDC offers every sport and arts activity imaginable, including unique riverside boating, it’s the traditional values learned within the Rolling River community that bring families back each year. The combination of intimate, secure, meticulously groomed grounds, as well as a caring, attentive, and energetic staff, enables campers to reach their potential in a safe and friendly setting. The most important activity at camp is the Red Cross swim program. Dozens of certified lifeguards and small teaching groups ensure maximum supervision and highly effective swim instruction. A brand-new, fully enclosed junior pool highlights this state-of-the-art facility, featuring three heated outdoor pools. RRDC takes pride in real camp traditions that inspire creativity and spirit. Exciting events such as Carnival, Hip Hop Night, Fall Festival and Holiday Camps connect families with RRDC and reinforce the value of camp year round. RRDC is committed to real long-term relationships and offers superior customer service to meet every family’s needs. It provides many options for program length, off-campus trips and customized payment plans. RRDC’s impact is clear, as countless parents express that continuous summers at RRDC are the best investment they have made in their child’s future. For a real day camp at the perfect size, “reel” yourself into Rolling River. RRDC is American Camping Association accredited and Nassau County Board of Health licensed.
