Choosing the right childcare and preschool for your child is one of the most important decisions you can make as a parent. River School offers programs for children 2 months through pre-kindergarten. To give a child the best possible start in life, the environment must be nurturing yet stimulating and it must respect each child’s individuality. A foundation of positive early childhood experiences prepares your child for the challenges of formal schooling. River School’s program encourages the children to explore their own skills and interests, be actively involved in the learning process and all the while to have fun doing it. River School’s goal is to help children grow in self-awareness, in social skills, in knowledge and curiosity about the world around them and in their readiness for future learning experiences. River School’s teachers understand child development and have the experience to recognize each child’s needs. The high staff-to-child ratio allows for each child to receive individual care and attention. River School is open between 7:30am-7pm and encourages visits and no appointment is ever necessary.
