Founded in 1960, Ranney School is a premier independent, co-educational college preparatory day school located on a picturesque 60-acre campus in Tinton Falls with an enrollment of more than 800 students from Beginners (3 year olds) through 12th grade. Students are divided into Lower School (Beginners through grade 5) Middle School (6 - 8) and Upper School (9 - 12). The Ranney School experience supports the motto, "Knowledge, Vision, Honor," offering students a challenging academic program that prepares them for continuous intellectual inquiry and life-long learning. Expansive, modern buildings, including a brand new 35,000 square-foot Lower School Academic Complex, a 400 seat performing arts hall and world-class athletic facilities provide each student with ample opportunity to explore a wide range of elective subjects, athletics and extracurricular activities. The Upper School curriculum offers more than 20 honors and college-level Advanced Placement courses. Ranney students graduate to the nation's finest colleges and universities. Ranney School also offers a day camp, summer study and sports camp for youngsters 3 to 18.
