PreSchool Playhouse / Funland is the first private, fully accredited / registered nursery school and kindergarten in Rockland County. They cater to children ages 18 months through kindergarten. Each classroom is a model of positive behavior and developmental learning. The Toddler program is a step forward into a world beyond home and family. Children are encouraged to learn, grow and discover at their own pace. They develop language and cognitive skills as well as skills in independence, including assistance with toilet training. The three year-old program teaches readiness in reading, math, science, music and social skills. Weekly themes are used to enhance creativity and learning. The Pre-K / 4 year old program has every aspect of a developmentally appropriate learning program. Skilled, trained, and experienced staff will promote the highest quality of learning and care for your child. Teachers promote hands-on skill building, while recognizing the social and emotional needs of the children. This carries through to the multifaceted kindergarten program. Half, full and extended day programs are available as well as Playhouse Day Camp - ages 18 months through 9 years for the summer months.
