Do you know a horse crazy kid? Palermo is proud to offer 6-weeks of horseback riding summer camp! Sessions are open to children ages 3-18 from the hours of 9am-3pm. Children at any level, from those with little or no experience, to the most advanced riders are accepted. Riders are required to set up a half hour evaluation lesson prior to signing up for specific camp sessions to then be placed in the appropriate weeks. Palermo’s 2012 Camp runs as follows: Week 1: July 2-July 6 Beginner Riding Camp; Week 2: July 16-July 20 Intermediate Riding Camp; Week 3: July 30-August 3Beginner Riding Camp; Week 4: August 6-August 10 Intermediate Riding Camp; Weeks 5 and 6: August 20-24 & August 27-31, Two-week session Advanced Riding Camp. Beginner camp is for first time to not-yet cantering riders. Intermediate Camp is for riders cantering to jumping 2'6". Advanced camp is designed to be a very equestrian rich 2 weeks for those seasoned riders including trips to shows, cross-country schooling, gallops on the trails, daily equitation and jumper lessons, clinics with judges, vets, and farriers, a peek at the US equestrian team's training facility, and more! All 2012 Group Camp Sessions are available to organizations such as Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, Churches or families. With a minimum of five campers per group, camp sessions are available during the off weeks. Aftercare is also available.
