Does the thought of a late-night trip to the emergency room with your sick or injured child send chills up your spine? PM Pediatrics, New York’s top provider of pediatric after-hours urgent care, has come to your rescue! Serving patients from newborns through 21 years old, and staffed by pediatric emergency physicians, all PM Pediatrics locations offer short waits and a variety of services, 365 days a year. No appointments are necessary— just walk in and receive specialized treatment. The physicians are trained to treat young patients with care and concern in urgent situations, minimizing both pain and unnecessary tests, and the child-friendly environment is especially comforting. A play area in the waiting room is equipped with video games, books, toys, and games, and TVs are placed in every exam room. Treatments are available for illnesses such as asthma, fever, stomach distress and infections; as are stitches for fractures and wounds; and rapid tests for strep, RSV, mono, flu and more. Medicines can be dispensed in initial doses so that treatment can begin immediately, and onsite digital x-ray and a comprehensive laboratory deliver immediate results. With locations in Nassau, Suffolk, Westchester and Queens, PM Pediatrics is there for you when your pediatrician’s office is closed. Most insurance plans are accepted, and all locations are open Monday-Friday from 5pm-midnight and weekends and holidays from noon-midnight.
