Once Upon a Treetop’s Preschool Readiness Program helps prepare children for the transition into kindergarten and beyond. Their program is designed to provide a variety of activities and unique learning experiences guided by New York State and NAEYC standards. Children are under the care and leadership of nurturing and New York State-certified staff, who are also CPR and First Aid certified. The 2 and 3 year old programs are based on planned thematic curriculums of activity, which offer opportunities for hands-on experiences, imaginative play, and intellectual growth. All programs incorporate the content areas of math, science, social studies, language arts, art, computers and music. These content areas are presented to the children through games, songs and manipulative, hands-on learning experiences. Once Upon a Treetop also includes specialized enrichment programs in the fine arts and use of its Little City for a daily extension of the academic program. They are proud to promote independence, socialization skills, and reading readiness, as well as an understanding of math and science concepts.
