The world-renowned staff at Music Institute of New York nurtures its students helping them reach the highest level of performance desired; whether it’s professional or amateur appreciation. Music classes are catered towards the student’s ability and needs. Music Institute of New York’s International Summer Festival of the Performing Arts offers a unique opportunity for students ages 3 and up to have a full two weeks of music, art, fashion, modeling, language and tennis. All activities take place daily. Registration closes May 1, 2011. A firm emphasis is placed on the importance of reading music and music theory, playing with impeccable technique and preparing a musician to be a performer. Additional MINY programs are also offered in Fine Arts, Media, Language, Fashion, Modeling, Physical and Spiritual Well-Being as well as Therapy Music and Art for Handicapped and Special Needs Students.
