Encourage your children to get their creative juices flowing by taking advantage of some of the great weekly programs and classes offered by the Morris County Art Association. A wide range of fine art youth classes are offered, including drawing, painting in watercolor, pastel, markers, colored pencils, acrylics, cartooning, printmaking, and oil for teens. Styles range from realistic, impressionistic to creative imagination, and go from basic to advanced. Children are taught step-by-step, and at their own pace, how to draw basic shapes to still life, landscape, portraits, animals, sea life, cartoons and more using a variety of media. To make sure that your kids don’t have all the fun, the MCAA provides a variety of adult classes for beginners to advanced that are also appropriate for the serious teenage artist.
