Miss Sue’s Summer Fun program, for children ages 3-5 is all inclusive and available in different sessions to meet everyone’s needs. For two to five days a week, 9:45am-4pm or 9:45am-2pm, children are engaged in a safe and nurturing environment that enhances their self-esteem. Door-to-door busing is included. Nutritious lunches are prepared fresh daily. Miss Sue’s features a state-of-the-art playground, full-size pools where campers swim twice a day, a water slide, and more. Campers are taught to swim in small groups by Nassau County certified lifeguards. They play water sports, have pool parties, try water skiing and wind surfing, and experience paddle boating and rafting. Skilled staff members are early childhood teachers. They instruct little ones to play baseball, soccer, football, tennis, lacrosse, volleyball, karate, and more. Miss Sue’s has a climbing wall and an exclusive six-station, rainforest-style zipline. New for 2012 is an onsite merry-go-round. There are group games, relays, special events and shows at the camp. Children view puppet shows, magicians, game shows, and Native American shows, and they even participate in Color War. After-camp performances for parents are put together by show-stopping campers. Miss Sue’s little world offers big world experiences designed for success.
