Soar into an amazing summer adventure at Lawrence Woodmere Academy Summer Day Program’s flexible five-day camp, available in four- to eight-week sessions for children ages 3-15. For 34 years, LWA’s goal has been to build up children to feel special as they explore and discover new opportunities, face personal challenges, develop skills, and hone individual abilities and talents. LWA’s beautiful 10-acre campus with full-size athletic fields, two heated pools, tennis courts, a state-of-the-art theater, and an air-conditioned facility provides for plenty of fun, rain or shine. Its top-notch athletic programs are appropriate for the beginner or skilled athlete, whether participating in classes, clubs or clinics. They are taught by experienced coaches and include American Red Cross swim instruction, lacrosse, tennis, basketball, baseball, softball, soccer, volleyball, newcomb, gaga and, new for this year, aeroball! For the child interested in the arts, reach for the stars and participate in the LWA Arts Academy with three chorus options, four art studios, dance, music, instrumental lessons, art and music clubs, and full stage productions on an historic stage. Off-campus excursions, special events and professional entertainment will allow each child to reach new heights at LWA Summer Day Program! Directors at the camp are Barbra Feldman and Susan Keilson.
