Kinneret Day School is dedicated to providing an integrated secular and Judaic instructional program to children in nursery school through 8th grade. This bicultural day school emphasizes bringing out the maximum potential in each child in a progressive environment of educational excellence. The school was founded in 1947 by a group of visionary communal leaders, members of Ameinu/Labor Zionist Alliance. Today, it strives to develop competent, independent, and resourceful students who possess a strong sense of self, and a lifelong commitment to learning and to Judaism. Kinneret prepares students to function successfully in the present, while helping them to develop the necessary coping skills for dealing with the future. The inclusive Jewish community day school serves children from liberal to traditional families. On average, more than half of Kinneret's graduating 8th graders are accepted into specialized high schools, with many choosing to enter elite private and Jewish day schools.
