KidAbilities, is a group of occupational, physical and speech therapists dedicated to working with children to develop physical, sensory, verbal and social skills. Therapeutic interventions assist children from birth through adolescence, reach their potential. The unique approach includes cutting edge treatment strategies, (NDT, Sensory Integration, listening therapies, oral motor, PROMPT, eating therapy, bowel and bladder training) combined with state of the art sensory gyms. The philosophy is that children develop skill and a positive self-image through play; they learn and grow, while having fun. In addition to individual therapy group experiences such as Play Partners, a social skills group; Write, On!, which develops writing skills; Quick Artic, which helps with speech intelligibility, and Ready, Set, Kindergarten are offered. Therapists are NYS licensed, many have advanced certifications. Parents are encouraged to visit the beautiful facility to determine if it’s right for their child. The viewing room enables parents to watch their child’s therapy. KidAbilities is an approved provider of NYS Early Intervention and CPSE (Preschool) services accessible for eligible children through Westchester County or your school district. KidAbilities accepts insurance for speech services and assists parents with insurance reimbursement for OT/PT. Registration for summer groups is starting. Space is limited, so secure your spot early!
